We mainly work with children and adolescents. The data of children under 14 is processed with the consent and authorisation of their parents or legal guardians (Art. 7 LOPDGDD). Young people over 14 may give their own consent where the law allows it.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We only disclose it when required by law or authorised by you:

• Public administrations and authorities with competence in the matter (for example, the Catalan Health Department, the Tax Agency or the courts), where there is a legal obligation.
• Banks, to process payments.
• Other healthcare professionals, schools or insurers, only if the family requests or authorises it.

We also work with providers that process data on behalf of AMELI (data processors), always under a contract that guarantees its protection:

• website and form hosting (Tilda);
• email and cloud storage (Google Workspace);
• patient management system (CRM);
• labour, tax and accounting advisers;
• data protection advisers;
• WhatsApp Business and advertising forms (Meta).

Some of our technology providers, such as Google and Meta, may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. These transfers are made with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which both companies participate, or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To do so, write to info@ameli.es or to Calle Plom 33, local 7, 08038 Barcelona, stating which right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your identity document. If you are acting on behalf of a child, please also show that you are their legal representative. We will reply within one month.

Please note that we cannot erase data that the law requires us to keep, such as clinical records during the legal retention period.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse. All our staff have signed a confidentiality agreement and only access the data they need for their work.

We may update this policy when our processing or the law changes. The current version will always be published on this page.
